Talented teen songbird Marissa Grace has recently been quoted as ‘one to take notice of now’. This singer/songwriter/musician is most focused on one thing – to share her music and provide a positive and upbeat message towards today’s youth.
“I love singing and songwriting, I love performing in front of a LIVE crowd, and most of all, I love that my music makes people happy,” she says enthusiastically.
Marissa started taking piano lessons at the age of 4, quickly followed by vocal lessons. Fast forward 10 years later, she has also picked up the guitar, ukelele, and a little bass. But she is truly focused on singing and songwriting. And was recently featured in the San Diego Reader magazine as one of San Diego’s up and coming local musicians.
This past year, Marissa has performed LIVE at many venues. She opened the 10th Anniversary of ArtWalk at Liberty Station, as well as America on Main Street Festival. She performed exclusively for Belmont Park’s Summer “Family Nights”, the San Diego County Fair, Balboa Park’s December Nights and more. She continues building her loyal social-media fan base, as seen on her YouTube channel and Instagram. Marissa donates her time and talent to the local Ronald McDonald House of Charities.
Along with her weekly vocal, piano and guitar lessons, Marissa enjoys playing club-soccer, surfing with her Dad, spending time with school and church friends, cheering on her brother’s baseball games, and spending time at home with the family’s three dogs.
